Newsprinters has extended its Engineering Apprenticeship application window until August 19.

The final apprentices will earn a level 3 BTEC Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering. The first year of the three year course is made up of full time study at Oaklands College, in Hertfordshire  (Welwyn Garden City Campus) with the following two years on day release at Newsprinters Broxbourne.

Newsprinters has a long history with apprentices which dates back decades. Last year saw Newsprinters Knowsley appoint four apprentices, with eighteen-year-olds Joe Miller, Lewis Birch and Michael Weatherston, plus 22-year-old Dom Heaney selected from more than 100 applicants for a four year scheme.
