ABB, one of the leading suppliers of automation solutions for the newspaper industry, will be taking part once more at this year’s IFRA World Publishing Expo in Berlin.
The Swiss-based be exhibiting on stand E.06 together with ProImage, 3T Control Precision Systems and Makro Solutions.
On the one stand will be solutions across the whole newspaper production process. ABB will present its modular press control and drives retrofit solutions for newspaper presses from all leading manufacturers. ABB says the solutions give printers the opportunity to replace the controls or drives on selected press units, thereby freeing up spare parts for the rest of the press and minimising the cost of keeping the presses in reliable production.
In addition, at a time when many people are talking about Industry 4.0 or Print 4.0, ABB says it can show customers a suite of management systems that have already made this a reality.
